| Shared note | (Research): [ReidMar02.FTW] This person was also known as "Cis". She was the twin sist er of Thomas Alexander Walker Reid. Granny Reid (Jeanie Alexander Walker Reid) was quite stric t with Sarah (Cis). Cis got along extremely well with Mar y Reid (Jim's wife) and she visited the homestead at Bento n at holiday time from her job at the Bank of Hamilton whic h later became the Bank of Toronto. She married Ralph Chal mers after meeting him at a visit in Benton and lived on hi s farm. They later sold the farm and moved to Cremona. The y weren't there very long and moved to Golden, British Colu mbia where they ran a motel nest of cabins. They moved fro m there to Calgary. |
